Strangefish on the Radio

Strangefish have been featured on Lincoln City Radio today. Ignorance of Bliss was played about half an hour into the show.

Rehearsing again

Another rehearsal at Redwall on Sunday. Not the thing you feel like doing when three members of the band were playing with other acts the night before; Kris in Burton-upon-Trent and Paul & Bob in Wales.

A 3am bedtime because of the clocks changing made for some excessive yawning!

Finally, Steve was laid up I’ll, and thus the scene was set. 5 members of the band, 3 excessively tired.

Amazingly, we managed to play the whole set, with repeat runs through the Spotlight Effect material. It’s sounding very tight. Definitely ready for the gig in May!

… in the press (Norway)

“The Spotlight Effect is called album which is a sequel to Fortune Telling from 2006. 12 years is a long time, but then also the Machesterband Strangefish has been on and off since they started in 1989. Only three albums has this neoprog band managed to get out with the mentioned The Spotlight Effect. The new disc is darker and harder than its predecessor, and focuses lyrically on human relationships. Below the magnifying glass is, among other things, the media-controlled world we live in right now.”
